Viper Tactical is a military simulation group, enjoying the study of military and law enforcement tactics, and applying them to Airsoft combat. It's members draw their experience from prior military, law enforcement and emergency services training. Viper Tactical has three distinct areas:
The Basic MilSim Group encompasses the basic level of Airsoft combat. Members in this category enjoy Airsoft in regional and national events. Viper Tactical employs the uniforms, equipment and tactics of modern unconventional warfare soldiers. Members don the subdued viper patch, commonly worn with various camouflage uniforms.
The CQC MilSim Group focuses on specialized tactics employed by law enforcement, governmental agencies, and elite military forces. Scenarios encountered at CQC MilSim events may include Close Quarters Combat (CQC), Hostage Rescue, Barricaded Suspect, and Breaching. Members wear black uniforms with the urban subdued Viper patch. Airsoft weapons used replicate the types suited for these types of operations (SMG's, short rifles, pistols, shotguns).
The Tactical Assault Group, or TAG, is focuses on the study of real world tactical skills. As a team, TAG practices emergency medical treatment, marksmanship, combat handgun, hand to hand combat, advanced scuba, skydiving and advanced tradecraft. This level of participation enhances the overall MilSim experience. Due to the wide rage of events, TAG participants wear various uniforms.
